Mayans Predictions - Part 2

New Heaven and New Earth

In this world so full of chaos, everyone longs to have the said, new heaven and new earth where according to the Bible, has no more pains and no more sufferings to be experienced, but only pure joy, peace, love, and contentment. With enough words in the book of Isaiah and Revelation describing what it is on the “New Heaven and New Earth”, people began to desire being in that place to escape life’s sufferings and hardships, and became so keen of everything that is happening around hoping that those events would lead them to the said new heaven and new earth.

Yes, the “New Heaven and New Earth” is such a desirable place for everyone to be in. However, with all of the words used in the Bible describing what is in the new heaven and the new earth, and with some who claim to have been in that place in their near-death experiences, still, nobody knows what to expect is in there.

“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy. I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more. “Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere child; the one who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.  They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the work of their hands. They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them. Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain,” says the Lord. – Isaiah 65:17-25

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:1-4

So what is really there to expect? Aside from the mentioned “no more weeping and crying; no more deaths;” only fairness, love, joy, peace, equality; and being attended to by the Lord before we even ask Him of the things we need and want, what else is there to expect in the new heaven and the new earth.

Well, we all do have a lot of questions with what really is to expect in the new heaven and earth that was mentioned in the Bible. But then, maybe what the Bible tells of it is enough for us to simply imagine how comfortable life is in there as compared to our lives here on earth. Yes, we are to be thankful of our lives here on earth, but we could never deny the fact that oftentimes, because of so many challenges and instances with purposes that we could never grasp, we tend to lose hope with a feeling of wanting to surrender. For now, only one thing is for sure; that someday, we will be in that “new heaven and new earth” that God has prepared for us; a place that appears more than what we are expecting and imagining how it appears to be.

Do you have unopened letters?

Dreams are fraught with messages of a symbolic nature. When you are in your dream state, you’ll see symbols everywhere: the sun and moon, animals and buildings, fire and water, and so on. Each has a specific meaning for you; some commentary from God on changes you should be making in your life or opportunities you should be seeking.

Why doesn’t God simply say in a clear voice, “Ahem, Liz, you need to stop dating that man, he’s bad for you”? Because symbols are the language of God, God wants you to interpret and understand His communication and in doing so, come to understand His nature. If He just told you what you needed to know, you wouldn’t be motivated to investigate, learn and grow. So He relies on symbols to give you a path to follow. Symbols are the voice of God in action.

Dreams are God speaking to us in images as our minds are at rest; they are a continuance of God’s messages to us on Earth during our waking hours. Each dream is a letter from God, but if you don’t remember your dreams, that letter remains unopened. If you remember the dream but do not act on it, it becomes a letter read but thrown away like so much junk mail. God sends you dreams because he intends for you to act on them and change something about your life.

Your conscious mind goes to sleep so God can visit you and send you information you would not hear when you are awake, when your mind is constantly “filtering” what it can receive. The most important skill to

develop as part of this teaching is the ability to remember and understand your dreams, so you never receive a letter from God that goes unopened. Each night you have 4 to 6 dreams, but you don’t always remember them.

However, you can train yourself to remember your dreams, to fully live in your dream body and become a dream catcher, someone who not only recalls but exercises control over his or her dreams. That’s power, the power to tune your personal receiver to the pure source of inspiration and life-changing vision in the cosmos, the God within you.

Knowing an omniscient God

The all-knowing God

God is omniscient. God knows the intent of the heart. There is nothing that we could ever do (good or bad or indifferent) that could shock God or catch Him unprepared. God even knows the parts that we don’t know the part of the self that is not yet revealed. There is nothing that we can ever do (good or bad or indifferent) that can shock God.

The God of completion

That which God has purposed to perfect and accomplish in your life is going to be perfected and accomplished one way or another. God is a God of completion. God is a God of solutions. That which God has purposed to perfect and accomplish in your life is going to be perfected and accomplished one way or another.

Therefore, it does not matter what path you choose, because at the end of the day, after it is all said and done, you will ultimately arrive at your highest good. You can either take the direct route and trust and follow the will of God, or you can take the scenic route and follow your own plan. You can play it smart or you can play it dumb. But one thing is for certain, at the end of the day, you will ultimately arrive at the place that God has ordained for your life.

Joshua 24:15 says, “Choose you this day whom ye shall serve.” I believe in the power of choice. We have the power, the ability and the liberty to choose our path in life. The higher definition of choice is the ability to discern God’s will for your life.

Your destiny has already been mapped out. It has already been decided. Although your life may look like it is undecided, although situations and circumstances in your life may appear to be out of order, God has already determined His will for your life.

Original righteousness

Many people go to church and profess to be spiritual; however, many do not possess the kingdom. They do not operate in kingdom principles. The scripture clearly says to seek first the kingdom of God, and then the “things” will be added unto you. How many Bible-believing, church-going, Holy Ghost-filled people do you know living in lack, poor health, poverty and sadness? However, this is contrary to the system that God established in the beginning.

It is vital to develop a kingdom mindset if you want to reign as Christ in the earth. You have to begin to walk in victory and talk in victory. You have to live the kingdom and understand that the kingdom of God is within you. What are you doing with the kingdom that is within you?

How are you living? Are you living by kingdom principles or are you living as an earthling? What is important to you, the kingdom or your standard of living?

You must seek first the principles that govern the kingdom of God. Until you find the principles that govern the kingdom of God, you will not see the manifestation of God. God cannot manifest until you get in principle. You are God in principle. But it is important to understand that you are God in principle, not in personality.

Dreams are letters from God

Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them. – John Updike

You’re deep in sleep. Your physical body is at rest, firmly into the aspect of sleep researchers call Rapid Eye Movement, or REM, sleep. The reason your eyes move? You’re dreaming. Your body may be at rest and your conscious mind in an idle mode, but your unconscious mind is running free and wild.

Stimuli are pouring into your mind and movies are playing out on your mental theater screen. Perhaps tonight it’s an adventure film, or a love story. Or very possibly, it’s a disjointed work that could have come from the hands of David Lynch or Salvador Dalí, something that on the surface doesn’t make much sense. Welcome to the strange, thrilling, essential world of dreams.

You dream every night, all night, in cycles that typically last for about 90 minutes. Each night as you sleep, your body becomes more wakeful and then goes deeper into sleep, part of the normal resting journey of your physical self. As you sleep, your muscles expel the lactic acid that causes fatigue, your heart rate and respiration slow, your body temperature cools, and your tissues repair any damage they may have suffered during the day.

But while sleep is a time of rest for your body, it is a time of crucial interaction with God and the Divine in you. Because during this time, when your waking mind is out of the picture, God is speaking directly and emphatically to your dream body, sending you information vital to your understanding of how to live your life and reach your full Divine potential.

Excerpt from 10 Commandments of Dreams & Visions by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan

2013: Living Life After the Said Doomsday

The Mayans have predicted that the world will end on December 21, 2012. However, with all the people who have prepared themselves for that day, believing that the world would really end with catastrophes, aliens coming along, and other more uncertain things that would happen into the world as they have said, such prediction did not happen.

That prediction of the Mayan has made almost half of the world a little crazy; with some denominations having a double time in preaching the Gospel, telling people to surrender their lives to God for the end is very near (well, there is nothing wrong with what they do then), while others have kept on doing things which they believed could hide them from the said ending (this is what is crazy), such as men wearing foils because they an alien spacecraft would come and saved them from what the Mayans have predicted. There also is one man who paid workers to build him a bunker wherein he would hide when the said apocalypse will happen. And if you were to search it on the internet, well, you’ll surely find a very long list of weird things the people did that time.

The Mayans’ prediction of the doomsday, or what they commonly called the Mayan Apocalypse have brought such impact to the lives of many people, especially to those who believed that it would really happen. The good thing: it made people prepared, making each day of their lives count, wasting nothing of their time- spending it with their families, doing good to other people, and drawing nearer to God. However, not all are on the same boat with regards to this matter, for there are also ones who have been traumatized because of the fear they felt as that time draws nearer and nearer.

Living life after the said doomsday is quite hard especially to those who have been traumatized. Coping up is never easy, and will never be especially if they are still haunted by their fears and worries. However, the Bible gives us an assurance that “He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. – 1 Corinthians 1:8”

May you be one of those who have already coped up or one who is still living in trauma, one thing should be kept in your heart- that in the Lord, there is hope. The end of the world may be coming, but surely the Lord will never forsake us.

Doomsday, They Say

On December 21, 2012, many people in different parts of the world has feared and trembled for it is said to be the end of the world based on the Mayan Calendar. There are also some who even do things they say they would only do if it is the end of the world, such as drinking too much, treating their loved ones to some cool places, and had quality time with everyone who are important to them. And to some who are halfhearted with the matter, they feared of experiencing major catastrophes such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tidal waves, storms and very strong typhoons, one that we could never imagine coming through. In fact, months before the said date, many have already prepared while some have campaigned with banners and streamers saying “The end is coming, come near to the Lord,” “The world is going to end on December 21, 2012, are you ready?” and so on and so forth. But at the end of the day, when everyone realized that such prediction is not true and nothing have happened, everyone who feared and worried of what they said is the doomsday, have celebrated for what they believed is their second chance; their second life.

What the Mayans predicted as the doomsday, and yet almost everyone have believed it is, is primarily based on the Mayan Calendar which is put to end on December 21, 2012. And while many believed it to be really the end of the world, one which is prophesied in the Bible, scientists have proved such prediction to be wrong, for basing alone on how the Mayans set up their calendar which is entirely different from our usual calendar, is a lack of knowledge per se. And yes, the scientists have proven themselves right, for we are now five (5) months ahead on which they said is the end of the world.

The world may have never ended as based on the Mayan calendar, but the said doomsday, however, has brought so many realizations especially to the people who believed it would really happen. First, they have learned that we don’t need to have such warnings before we spend quality time with our loved ones. Each day should be spent with them, for we never know, today or tomorrow will be our last day here on earth. Second is to live our lives to the fullest. Never wait for tomorrow to do what we can do for today, may it be on our jobs or in pampering ourselves. And lastly, before believing, we should weigh things over and seek divine wisdom to rightfully perceive the things we see and hear.

We never know why the Mayans predicted it to be the end of the world or why they have set up their calendar to end on that date, but one thing is for sure then; there is something on that day. Yes, it is not the doomsday as what almost everyone has expected, but surely there is something that have happened that time, maybe a little change that would someday make  a big difference in the world. And when that day comes, only then will we realize why the Mayans had such set up of their calendars.

Gift of Tongues Power to Minister for Inner Healing and Deliverance with Mayans Predictions

Walley (2003) described the gift of speaking in tongues to be an important weapon in this spiritual warfare. Speaking in tongues is a powerful tool in the ministry of inner healing and deliverance. Since we are in a spiritual battle, the believer is bound to experience bouts with weariness, worries, spiritual dryness, doubts, and pain.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12, NIV)

During such time, the believer can stop and communicate with God through praying in tongues. The believer can always stop and be refreshed by coming into the presence of God. Praying in tongues is a form of worship because the context of this prayer is in thanksgiving. According to the Book of James, “7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (4:7-8, NIV).

Worshiping God acknowledges His greatness. It is the recognition that we are under His reign. Submission is a picture of

worship, as one humbles one’s self in order to praise another. One cannot worship without submission. One cannot worship and not submit to the Kingship of God. Worship comes from the words “worth” and “shape.” It reflects an a description of worth. It pertains to the recognition the great worth of the object of worship.

When one worships God, the Enemy cannot take it and he flees. This is because through worship, we come near to God. As we draw near to us, God comes near us. The Enemy cannot stand the holiness of God and he flees from individuals who worship God. The mere experience of the presence of God can edify believers. Speaking in tongues is an important gift because it allows the believer to draw near to God, to dwell in His presence, and to get rid of the Enemy. This is a powerful thing. But the benefits of speaking in tongues do not end there. This is just the personal edification of the person. The power of speaking in tongues extends to building up the ministry of inner healing and deliverance for fellow believers.

Mayans Predictions Causing World To End?

Recently, there has been a great amount of talk regarding the end of the world on December 12 or 23, 2012. Much of this talk is generated by those that believe the Mayans predictions are actually prophecies. However, instead of buying into this theory directly, we should do some research on the people and what they believe.

The Mayans are an ancient people that once thrived in Mesoamerica, a region that extended from the center of Mexico to countries further south such as Nicaragua and Honduras. They are known, as are other Mesoamerican early peoples such as the Inca and the Aztecs, for their progressive civilization and scientific discoveries. While they were not the inventors of the calendar, they certainly finalized the concept and improved upon it. And, it such a calendar, that is putting everyone in such a whirlwind of worriment.

The Mayans had three separate calendars that were formulated based off of the movement of the stars and planets. The current calendar was formulated with a total of 1,872,000 days, based on several different aspects of astrology. The Mayans believed that they could only understand the present fully when they could view the future as well. Therefore, they designed a calendar that was cyclical.

Each cycle is based on the position in the sky of a certain star or planet, and the movement of that star became a certain amount of time. They also correlated certain dates with specific events, and because of this, it has started a panic within modern-day society.

Scientists have calculated that the Mayan calendar ends on either December 12 or December 23, 2012. Instead of just accepting that 1,872,00 days was the longest calendar that the Mayas wished to make, people are claiming that a large event will take place on this date, therefore causing the end of the world. However, instead of actually looking into the likelihood of this occurrence, it is believed by thousands.

In order to satisfy the population and their fears, scientists have looked into the possibility of an end-of-the-world scenario equal to what the interpreters of Mayan prophecies believed. The verdict is that the end of the world is not possible within the next two years. However, there are some who have a different view regarding the ending of the calendar.

Instead of believing in negative consequences, there is a new age belief that 2012 will bring about a new level of consciousness in humanity. They believe that there is the possibility of a total upheaval in the way that humans act, think, and feel towards each other. While this could happen, that does not seem very likely either.

The Mayans were an incredibly advanced civilization that made several advances in the field of science and astronomy. Before their great fall, they were progressive members of society whose view of cyclical time is both philosophical and inspirational. There are people in the world of today that are attempting to twist this beautiful creation into something prophetic and sinister. The Mayans predictions do not involve the end of the world, but simply the ending of their calendar.

Some Facts About Mayans Predictions

Will the world end in the year 2012? Some think so. Others are not so sure. The Mayans predictions can be interpreted as such, but there are other ways to interpret their prophecies as well.

According to their long count calendar, the December 21st Solstice in the year 2012 will mark a completeness of a cycle, the Great Cycle, according to Mayans, at precisely 11:11 a. M. But rather than it being an end to something, it may be a new beginning. This new beginning or cycle is yet a mystery that we have not yet figured out.

The year 2012 is also the end of a 26,000 year cycle, called the Precession of the Equinoxes. Some others believe that it is the completion of a 104,000 year cycle. So which is true, and what does it all mean, anyway?

According to the Bible, there are some of the prophesies happening in the present time. One of these is the anti-Christ being revealed as a world leader overnight, who will speak with much arrogance and seem to be authorized to control the world. Others are the Middle East Peace Treaty being signed, the destiny of the European world, animal sacrifice, among others.

The media and entertainment sources may distort the ancient prophetic message by depicting it as tragic, when it may just be a transformation, a new cycle. It is not certain as to whether or not the people should be associating the old cycle with destruction, as well as fear. In fact, we may be living in an historical time, a land mark that is inevitable. Curiosity alone should have us thinking about the future, perhaps in a brighter light. It may be a time of awakening and understanding.

The Mayans believed that this planet could be ravaged, or it can be renewed. It would, of course, depend on the people. Our own actions can certainly decide how this will play out. They believed that all that there was was within yourself, and if you find your heart, you will indeed find the way.

These beliefs were not a some great wisdom, but rather simplistic. They involved love and tolerance, respect and sharing, forgiveness and gratitude. They thought that the people who were born into this incarnation will be the ones to do the spiritual work of creating balance on this planet earth.

We are all in this together. Every one of us on earth will need to pull together. And the Mayans believed in the higher harmony of this type of sort of New Age thought. Nobody knows what will happen if we continue to battle and love is not shared amongst us all. But the Mayans seem to see the unfortunate inevitable end if this remains the case. We cannot be passive in the ending of this cycle, but rather busy participants in what is to happen next. It is time to show our full potential of love and togetherness. The Mayans predictions showed that they believed in oneness and interdependence. The future cycle is in our hands.
